our bond information.
Our data is based on publicly available sources. Here’s how we organise it, what our comparisons show and what to check as you research.
What the directory covers
The directory includes bonds reported as listed, historical issues and instruments whose listing status is unconfirmed. Coverage is not exhaustive. A profile does not mean a bond is currently available to buy.
Search starts with bonds reported as listed whose maturity dates have not passed. Use the filters to include past maturities, perpetual bonds or other listing statuses.
One profile for each ISIN
The ISIN identifies an individual security. An issuer can have several bonds with different payment schedules, credit ratings, security and repayment terms.
We use readable titles built from the issuer, coupon and maturity where available. Perpetual bonds are labelled as such. The original security name and ISIN remain available on the profile.
Coupon, price and yield
The coupon is the stated interest rate on face value. It is different from yield, which also depends on the price paid and the timing of cash flows.
Face value is not a market price or a minimum investment amount. We do not currently provide live trading prices or calculated market yields.
Credit ratings
Bond profiles show the rating agency, rating and available date. When there are multiple agency entries, the profile keeps them visible. Summary views use the latest dated rating entry available in our data.
A rating is an assessment that can change. Check the agency’s latest report for the specific ISIN; a rating is not a guarantee of repayment.
Maturity and missing information
Maturity dates and remaining terms describe the scheduled repayment date in our data. Perpetual bonds have no fixed maturity date. Call or put provisions can affect when repayment takes place.
“Not available” means a field is missing from our data. An unknown coupon is not treated as a zero coupon. Past maturity dates do not establish that repayment has occurred.
Collections and comparisons
Collections group bonds by stated features, such as interest-payment frequency, security or scheduled maturity. A collection is a way to browse, not a recommendation.
Compare up to four bonds using the same fields. We do not give bonds an overall investment score or assess their suitability for you. Advertising does not change the order of research results.
Listing and liquidity
A reported exchange listing does not establish that a bond trades regularly, that a buyer is available or that you can sell at face value.
Check current trading activity, prices, lot sizes and any restrictions with the relevant exchange or platform.
Check the current terms
Public information can be incomplete or change after it is collected. Our directory is not a real-time market feed.
Before acting, verify the offer document, repayment schedule, latest rating report and any issuer notices. Bond profiles link to available source information and documents to support that check.
